The tape I've seen of him, he looked a bit of a body catcher. Having said that, there's definitely something there. I've seen conflicting reports on his character. Some sources have said he has a big ego and he was suspended by Rutgers for breaking team rules. Others have said such concerns are misleading and that none exist. I'm sure the team will have done their homework. If he's there at 37 and they haven't taken a receiver in round one - if the character holds up of course he would be an option.Rob Statonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16481945325907207562noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5053006193215777292.post-21780384303369058452009-04-16T14:09:00.000-07:002009-04-16T14:09:00.000-07:00ok but if britt did fall, are you a fan?ok but if britt did fall, are you a fan?Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06769109156874566405noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5053006193215777292.post-57013892918438082752009-04-16T13:59:00.000-07:002009-04-16T13:59:00.000-07:00I think in terms of pure offensive guards Duke Rob...I think in terms of pure offensive guards Duke Robinson is the number one ranked prospect - no arguments there. Having said that, it's a poor class again at that position and guys like Alex Mack, Eric Wood and Max Unger are all rated above Robinson as interior line prospects.

I would be very surprised if he goes any earlier than the third round. His stock has plummeted.

I know Rang has Britt going at #35, I just think he'll go in round one which is why I didn't include him on the list.Rob Statonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16481945325907207562noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5053006193215777292.post-43741264729258975872009-04-16T13:43:00.000-07:002009-04-16T13:43:00.000-07:00and walterfootball.com, who i really like, still h...and walterfootball.com, who i really like, still has duke rated as the #1 OG prospectUnknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06769109156874566405noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5053006193215777292.post-61252523795392887912009-04-16T13:41:00.000-07:002009-04-16T13:41:00.000-07:00you know, rob rang currently has britt going to th...you know, rob rang currently has britt going to the rams at 35, just two spots ahead of seattle in round 2. i think he very easily could last until the first half of the second.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06769109156874566405noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5053006193215777292.post-33131066787420884872009-04-16T12:34:00.000-07:002009-04-16T12:34:00.000-07:00Wes - Robinson's stock has fallen to such an exten...Wes - Robinson's stock has fallen to such an extent he's now being considered a 3rd or even fourth round pick. I don't think he has the athleticism to play in a ZBS and would be a poor scheme fit. Obviously in the later rounds he would possess greater value, but I don't think he'll be in Seattle's considerations at #37.

I fully expect Kenny Britt to be off the board in round one, which is why I didn't include him in this.Rob Statonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16481945325907207562noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5053006193215777292.post-53019379161173053262009-04-16T12:25:00.000-07:002009-04-16T12:25:00.000-07:00two guys you didnt mention that may be there are O...two guys you didnt mention that may be there are OG Duke Robinson and WR Kenny Britt. If Britt was there I would be so pumped if the hawks took him. I think potential wise he is one of the best in the draft at the WR position. If Britt isn't there, Id want to see the hawks go interior lineman, and Robinson would likely get consideration. I think he is still considered by many to be the first or second best guard prospect.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06769109156874566405noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5053006193215777292.post-13267164371634790162009-04-16T09:49:00.000-07:002009-04-16T09:49:00.000-07:00Great article, Rob.
