I know this is off topic, but what is the big deal about Brian Cushing and his steroid testing?

NFL players get busted all the time for this crap and fortunately for the NFL it has been able to deal with it in a better way then baseball has.

All I'm seeing in football news right night is Brian Cushing this and Brian Cushing that. Reminds me of the whole T.O drama or Michael Vick saga where the media wouldn't stop talking about it.

I know its a slow time for the NFL, but seriously there has to be something better to talk about then Cushing.

My 2 cents is that he got cheating,(at least according to the NFL) and had an unfair advantage compared to those he was playing against. Unbelievable that the AP would condone that and vote him D rook of the year after they found out IMO. Confusing message to the high schoolers and collage players.
Ends seems to justify the means these days. He still is a multi-millionare. Course I don't get allot of things these days.

Have they? Or do they just do a worse job than MLB? Or do people just care less because the records in baseball are 'sacred', whereas the ones in football aren't as much. Passing record, rushing record, TD record, sacks record, no one cares that much, but you break the HR record (either all time or single season) and people start questioning the integrity of the game.
