Neon green jersey debate rages on...

It's been a topic of debate for some time, but there's another strong hint today that the Seahawks will reveal a neon green alternative jersey this year.

Aaron Curry and Mark Sanchez were filmed competing in a game of Madden '10, with Curry obviously controlling the Seahawks. The team are shown wearing the new jersey in the game, which makes you wonder if the producers have inside knowledge that the team intend to use it in 2009.

What do you think?

NO, GOD, NO!

Don't do it! Don't do it! Don't do it!

How can we stop this crime against humanity?

Ha Ha, I JUST saw this video and was thinking the same thing and wondering why I hadn't seen anything about this! Thanks again for being on top of things as usual Rob! Thanks for all the great work! As for the jerseys, this April fools joke is starting to look more and more like a real deal.

Having occassionally enjoyed the odd game of 'Madden' I can only imagine that the producers put the third option on there as an alternative regardless of whether it intends to be used... and that Aaron Curry selected it from the intro.

It looks a lot like the fashion jersey the team sold last year, which for anyone hoping this doesn't come to fruition may be the saving grace.

I'm not a fan personally. The neon grim trim on the blue and white jersey's is a nice edge and gives the team an identity. I'm not sure why this has to evolve into anything more.

It's a little tough initially, but I could get used to it. It's different than anything else I've seen. If they play faster, I'm all for it.

I can see where people dont care for it, but it will make Seahawks more recognizable throughout the league. Jacksonville just changed their uniforms this year, because the owner stated they didnt have a color that made it so that if you were flipping through channels the viewer would automatically know Jacksonville was playing. I think it is a great branding color that no other team will be able to copy, and if anybody anywhere in the US is flipping through the channels, they will know its the Hawks playing. Another thing is that it sounds like it will be our 3rd option jersey, so its not like we will have to see it every week.

That's a good point annonymous. If the Seahawks are looking to find a distinctive feature, then a lime green jersey might be the ticket.

As for Jacksonville, am I the only one who preferred their older jerseys? I thought they were amongst the best in the league, and their all black alternative uniform was great.

I kind of liked them. I don't know what's wrong with them. It works better withthe blue pants than the white though. You still got to have blue be prominent.

I'm not so worried about the jersies as I am about getting back on the plus side of the win column.

I think we'd all take 16 wins in lime...

Reminiscent of the Orlando WLAF team. As long as the uni gets Rodgers-Cromartie distracted while Branch blows past him, works for me no matter how ugly it is.
