Meet Jon McKinney

by Rob Staton
I had an email today from Jon McKinney, a 6'3", 260lbs defensive end from Wingate University. He sent me a nicely produced youtube highlights video, so I'm more than happy to post it on the blog and get his name out there. Good luck with the draft, Jon.

A long time ago, I was a backup for Division II Colorado School of Mines, and during my time there I definitely saw NFL caliber talent in those games. I'm not surprised that your school has produced NFL players. I hope you have as much success as David Jones and Kenwin Cummings have had. Best of luck Jon.

Hey Rob, did you watch the East-West shrine game?

If so, what did you think of prospects such as John Skelton (QB, Fordham) and Matt Nichols (QB, Eastern Washington University)?

Did any prospect really stand out during this whole game? Any offensive linemen, such as the one from Stanford, that looked pretty good?

Thanks Rob.
