Tebow is also one of the 18 prospects invited to NYC for the draft this year.

As I write this, Mike Sando has reported that for Charlie Whitehurst Seattle moved from #40 to #60 in the 2nd round, and then will give San Diego our 3rd rounder in 2011. I guess I'm torn on this move because on the one hand we may have gotten our QB of the future without it being at our #6 pick, but on the other hand I believe this eliminates the chance we get someone like Jahvid Best. I also believe this takes us completely out of the Tebow conversation. Not only do I not think he'll still be there at #60 but I'm just not sure if we would use a 2nd rounder on a QB. I'm hearing that Whitehurst's salary is supposed to be $5 million per season. Seems like a lot to be spent on QBs.

The #60 pick is still in the 2nd round though, so I am happy about that. It will be very, very interesting to start discussing which big names fit at the #60 spot.

Also, I can't help but think this hurts us with the Brandon Marshall discussion. #40 was one thing, but I really doubt we could convince Denver using #60.

He got invited to the draft... I've got to think that could mean Jacksonville has already decided to take him. Or maybe Miami. Otherwise he's in for a wait of epic abortio- err proportions.

Heh, comments are raining down on the SDB like never before... However in the "Tebow performs" item all is pretty calm. I like it, it shown the SDB readers know their football..

I agree with Charlie Casserly 5th round or later still. If it really took six weeks to fix Tebow he would have already been fix during any off season during school. He's tried to fix his motion before and it looks great until he got to game speed and instantly the old bad Tebow comes out. Seams like a really nice guy to bad he has no shot in the nfl. Everyone wants to see this kid paid for his play at Florida, just as long as its not by my team. He's not the sharpest tack but if you've heard him speak which he love's to do, Diva you already new that.
