NFL Network's Charles Davis and Mike Mayock published their updated big boards this week, in reaction to the scouting combine. There's some interesting observations. Both clearly rate Brian Orakpo (Texas) very highly, as he's ranked 3rd overall by Davis and 4th overall by Mayock. At 6'3" and 260 lbs I still believe he's better suited to play OLB in the 3-4, something Mayock touches on here. It's also obvious that neither feel Michael Crabtree's surgery has seriously affected his stock, he's ranked the best prospect on Davis' board and 2nd overall by Mayock. Interestingly, despite a sub-par work out by Knowshon Moreno in Indianapolis, he's ranked the 7th best prospect by Mayock. Another running back, Donald Brown (Connecticut) surprisingly makes the top 10 on Davis' board.
