Taylor Mays will not declare for the NFL draft,
according to USC coach Pete Carroll. The Seattle born safety was expected to head for the
pro's this year and was ranked by many as a potential top twenty pick. Mays previously attended
O'Dea high school and is listed at 6'3" and 230lbs. The deadline for eligible prospects to declare for this year's draft is Thursday.

I guess this will surprise some people. Good for him, though. It sounds like he enjoys college and is not completely driven by money (especially when you consider there probably will be a rookie cap when he enters the draft).
