B.J. Raji 'failed drugs test' at combine

Tony Pauline from Sports Illustrated is reporting that defensive lineman B.J. Raji failed a drug test at the NFL combine in February. The actual drug has not been named, but Pauline writes that Raji tested positive for marijuana during his time with Boston College.

The Seahawks were never likely to draft Raji, but this probably 'seals the deal'. There were already character concerns surrounding the 334lbs tackle. He was red shirted ahead of his senior year due to 'academic issues' and was also suspended after punching an opponent during a game with Clemson. This could be the third strike needed to eliminate him from consideration. If these reports are substantiated and it is marijuana, this would be incredibly stupid on Raji's behalf. Just weeks before the NFL Draft, taking a banned substance knowing you'll get tested? Unbelievable.
