NFL.com's veteran draft analyser Gil Brandt has published a 'hot 100' list ranking the prospects in tier's of ten in terms of value.
"Rather than ranking the players from 1-100, I have broken them into 10 tiers of 10 and listed them alphabetically within the tiers. Nobody can predict exactly where every player is going to get drafted. The point here is to pinpoint the range in which a prospect is likely to go." - Gil Brandt.
There are a few surprises. Mark Sanchez and B.J. Raji only make it into tier two (essentially meaning they shouldn't be top 10 picks), whilst Georgia's Knowshon Moreno has to settle for tier three. Josh Freeman is amongst the top 10 prospects listed by Brandt as is Tyson Jackson. They stand amongst the usual suspects - Stafford, Smith, Monroe, Curry, Crabtree etc.
